The Top Ten Questions When
Choosing your Financial Planner
Toronto, October 10, 2007 — Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC) offers Canadians ten key questions to ask when hiring a financial planner, as Investor Education Month celebrates its tenth anniversary in Canada this month.
"Information is power. By knowing the right questions to ask, Canadians can make more informed choices in selecting a planner who's right for them — one who can help them get what they want out of life, when they want it," says Ann Bowman, Vice President, Communications and Corporate Relations for FPSC.
