A leader in the field of succession, financial, and estate planning, Jim has played a key role in guiding clients and professional advisors in the development of planning strategies to address their personal and professional objectives.
Upon attaining the CA designation, Jim completed the CICA's In-Depth Tax course and Wealth Preservation program. He has earned a Master of Tax (MTAX) degree from the University of Waterloo. Jim is actively involved in the area of professional development as an author and program facilitator. He is co-author of Comment, a bi-monthly newsletter published by the Financial Advisors Association of Canada for advisors and their clients. Jim is currently a member of the Board and Secretary of STEP ("Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners") Toronto.
