4/7/2008 ) For New Canadians, Financial Planning Can Help Ease the Transition to a New Life In Canada For the thousands of new Canadians who settle into this ethnically diverse country each year, there are often more challenges than opportunities at the start of their new lives. And many financial planners know first- hand how particularly tough the first few years can be if financial affairs are not in order. Newcomers need advice on how to successfully navigate the financial opportunities and challenges associated with embarking on a new life in Canada.

1/22/2008 ) June 2008 CFP Examination - Registration Now Available Registration for the June 2008 Certified Financial Planner Examination is now available. If you register for the CFP Examination on or before April 14th, the exam fee is $500. After this date, the fee increases to $600. The registration deadline is Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
